# Getting started

## Connect your first service

1. [Create a Node1 account](https://node1.me/register), then open the [dashboard](https://node1.me/dashboard) and copy your Account UUID. Registration enables Solana transaction submission at 2 TPS.
2. For Solana, choose a [regional endpoint](/node1-docs/solana/fast-landing/endpoints.md). Use your Account UUID as the `api-key` for [HTTP submission](/node1-docs/solana/fast-landing/http-api.md), or follow the [QUIC](/node1-docs/solana/fast-landing/quic-api.md) / [UDP](/node1-docs/solana/fast-landing/udp-api.md) authentication guide for those protocols.
3. Prepare and sign your transaction locally, include the required [tip transfer](/node1-docs/solana/fast-landing/endpoints.md), and replace the placeholders in the selected example. Never send a private key as an API credential.
4. Inspect the response. For errors, consult [error codes](/node1-docs/solana/fast-landing/error-codes.md) and [transaction error details](/node1-docs/solana/fast-landing/transaction-errors.md). A submission response is not a guarantee of successful on-chain execution.

For Robinhood Chain, follow the separate [Feed](/node1-docs/robinhood/robinhood-feed.md) or [Landing Service](/node1-docs/robinhood/robinhood-landing.md) guide; their authentication and subscription requirements differ from Solana.

## Service overview

A low-latency infrastructure built for Solana's most demanding real-time scenarios: tailored to support both high-frequency trading (HFT) requiring ultimate path latency and market makers needing reliable execution during network congestion. Leveraging an optimized mesh network with leader path optimization and binary enhancements, we deliver sub-slot precision in data streaming and propagation.

Smart dynamic priority is provided to automatically tilt resources to critical workloads, ensuring enterprise-grade reliability and 7×24 support for your business.

## Key Infrastructure Features

* SwQoS-enabled direct connections and staking-prioritized peer-to-validator access
* Enhanced transaction execution system optimized for high-frequency and tip-prioritized scenarios
* Global private fiber network with dynamic leader-aware routing
* Binary protocol engineered to minimize serialization overhead

## Performance Metrics

* Reduces end-to-end latency by approximately 500 ms compared to standard RPC nodes
* Cuts additional overhead for processed transaction receipts by 40–50 ms
* Features automatic retries to mitigate packet loss risk

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://node1.gitbook.io/node1-docs/getting-started.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
